• Aluminium Sections: Color Anodized Main Frame (Tubular Shape) and Glass Frame designed to withstand wind pressure up to 180 Kg/m2 in additions to supporting dead load. Assembly is made to ensure proper drainage of water.
• Separate Aluminium Glass Frame is used for Glass Panels. The Glass is placed on this Frame squarely on Polyethylene Spacer with adhesive on both sides. Structural Silicone Sealant is applied between the glass and Extruded Aluminium Frames in dust free conditions and allows curing for 7 to 10 days. The panels are then fixed on to frame through necessary clamps.
• EPDM weather stripping between Glass Frame and mainframe is provided.

• Reflected Glass manufactured by recommended agencies will be provided
• The Glass to be cut square as per required size and edges grinded
• It shall not be allowed to have direct contact with any metal

• The size of Sealant (BYTE) will be calculated as per manufacturing specifications (minimum thickness 6 mm) according to wind loads
• The design of the system to be approved by manufacturer
• The Sealant to be applied at the back of Glass (between Glass and Aluminium Frame)
• The surface of Aluminium and Glass is thoroughly cleaned of dust and other residues and Sealant applied in dust free conditions to get maximum bonding
• Space between Glass and Frame of proper Polyethylene to be used, which should be compatible with Silicon Sealant. Rubber, PVC, EPDM, Neoprene eat into Sealant, thereby destroying its properties
• The manufacturer’s design the size of Sealant (BYTE) to be applied after carrying out the laboratory test on the materials (Glass and Aluminium) to be used for the particular project considering wind/dead loads

• Clamps – Properly design clamps (galvanized M.S. or Aluminium Alloy) to withstand the loads and pressures will be holding bolts shall be 10 mm dia. S.S. or M.S properly treated to withstand Corrosive action. Stainless Steel Bolts to be used to fix Aluminium Vertical to Clamps
• The Clamps are designed to allow independent vertical movement of Aluminium Frames due to temperature variation (of Building and Aluminium Frame and Earthquakes).
• Non-usage of such system will result in frequent breakage of Glass
• All other Bolts/Screws, etc, shall be of properly treated materials
• All Gaskets, packing shall be EPDM, Neoprene of Nylon for long life
• Water Proofing: In addition, to provide Drainage System in the Frame. Weather Strip or Weather Sealant between two Glass panels shall be applied as required. Sealant to fill gaps between Frame and Masonry will be applied

• Brackets to be fixed to slab/beam after properly marking the layout of verticals
• Mainframe will be fixed to these brackets and then aligned to get perfect Panel openings
• Glass Panels then to be fixed to main Frame ensuring proper alignment and uniform gaps
• Fire/smoking protection - flashing below and above the slab will be provided with proper insulation
• Sealant - Weather Sealant wherever required is applied to fill up gaps
